How to make a Pumpkin Flower Arrangement

Step 1: Carefully slice the top of the pumpkin off and pop safely to one side. Scoop out the fleshy pumpkin and carve the inside so it leave it clean and firm.

Not a fan of pumpkin carving? Why not use a stylish round Hat Box instead - our Lined Hessian Hat Box is a great option for this floral arrangement, and will still look fab filled with Autumnal coloured blooms.

Step 2: Cut your floral foam to size, so that it snugly sits inside the pumpkin with the top poking out the top. Soak your foam in water for 60-90 seconds, before popping back in the pumpkin.

Step 3: Start creating a base layer of colour by adding your greenery to the floral foam. Ensure that the trailing leaves cover the edging of the pumpkin hole/floral foam.

Step 4: Once you have built up your green base, next you can add you flowers. Trim the stems short and at a 45 degree angle. Start with your larger focal flowers chrysanthemums and roses, and filling in the gaps with smaller blooms.
